Emily Zachar - Founder
RYT-500 Yoga & Meditation Teacher, Somatic Movement Guide, Sound Healer, Soul Coach, Shamanic Reiki Master
I founded Soul Healing Collective in 2022 and left my corporate career in 2023 to pursue healing arts full time. I offer yoga (Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Yin, Nidra) and healing/energy services (Soul Coaching, Sound Healing, Reiki, Shamanic Energy Healing, and Sacred Energy Activation) with an emphasis on mind-body-soul integration, breathwork, meditation, and other awareness practices.
My teachers have taught me that I am my own best healer. And I want you to unlock your own magic, just as I have. To come home to yourself, through a deeper relationship with your body, mind, and soul. To realize you already have everything you’ve ever needed to live your highest timeline, starting right now. To remove the blocks that stand between your heart and your fully actualized self. To remember who you really are, and let it set you free.

Jade
RYT-200, Vinyasa, Hatha, Sensual and Somatic Movement Guide
Jade became a part of the Soul Healing Collective team in Spring of 2025 after connecting with the amazing studio owner, Emily! She has a background in Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, sensual and somatic movement, and dance. At the Soul Healing Collective studio in Ballard, she offers Align Yoga, Sensual Yin, Chair Flow, and Heels. She also offers private individual and partner Yoga sessions and often supports Emily during the monthly Divine Feminine Circles. From her first Yoga class venture in college back in 2001 to my RYT 200 training in late 2023, her journey has been quite an adventure! Her interest in and experience with Yoga as a mindful physical, emotional, and spiritual practice has contributed to her life in immeasurable ways, bringing her healing in unexpected ways. Her love for dance and somatic movement began years before she had even heard of the word. All of her teachers along the way have taught her to flow and to follow, and she hopes to share all of the beauty she has experienced with everyone she encounters.

With 15+ years as a movement instructor in studios and many of those years helping studios run and grow "behind the scenes," Alexandra is our newest team member and Studio Operations Extraordinaire. She's a movement instructor herself, but never dreamed she would be a fitness person, much less a full time instructor! Studying dance in college got her started with her interest in movement studies; she trained in ballet, modern, floorwork, partnering, and improvisational techniques and studied biomechanics, anatomy, pedagogy, movement composition, and Labanalysis at University of Idaho. To better support her body and protect it from injury, she started lifting and fell down the rabbit hole that is fitness! While Alexandra has taught dance at studios, she’s found that she prefers working with populations that are interested in movement beyond dance techniques.
Spending the last fifteen years in various studios has demonstrated to her that there’s great power in people coming together to breathe and move together, whether it’s in a yoga class or a step aerobics popup – the important thing is that we get groovin’ and find joy in it. After teaching everything from Vinyasa yoga to barre to bungee fitness to dance aerobics to aerial sling, Alexandra has found that there are endless possibilities for movement, and there’s a modality for everyone. Movement is our birthright, and our bodies carry us through life – why not enjoy the time we spend movin’, groovin’, and researching what it can do?
When Alexandra's not helping things run smoothly at Soul Healing Collective, she teaches fitness, dances professionally with local Seattle companies, and she enjoys running (mostly from her problems) and bird watching with her husband.
